Maharlika means royalty. They are the kings and queens princes and princesses
of this world.
Mirasol means " to touch the sun " which is also the name for sunflower.
So in this sense my name means " The King Who Touches The Sun ".

Pretty apt for me as a photographer-artist don't you think.

As a photographer, we are - I am a chaser of light.
We form, we sculpt, we seek the different vagaries and gradations of light.

The drama of shadows.

Our magic box called the camera captures these - plays of light and shadows.

But it does not end there. Beyond the technicalities of it all, we become
part of the whole experience. We too become fellow celebrators, family and friend to our clients now more immersed and deeply involved and thus eventually
it shows in our work.
In my photographs. Thus, beyond merely seeing the light of the moment
we are able to in a sense - to touch it and become part of it.
